Starting August 29, 2025, new U.S. customs rules will take effect.
As a result, all shipments from Korea (and other countries) may now be subject to customs duties, even for goods under USD 800.

📌 Key Points

  • Customs clearance date applies (not shipping date). Shipments cleared on/after Aug 29 may be taxed.

  • Customs duties and taxes are determined by U.S. Customs (CBP) and are the customer’s responsibility.

  • DHL shipments: In addition to duties, DHL may charge an extra handling/processing fee per package.

  • Postal shipments (EMS, K-Packet, etc.) may be subject to a flat fee during the first 6 months, then transition to value-based duties.

  • Local clearance may take longer than usual during the transition period.

📦 Shipping Method Update

Due to the rising costs and uncertainties in carrier-specific customs fee policies, DKshop will temporarily ship all U.S. orders via FedEx only (effective August 22, 2025).

Other carriers (DHL, K-Packet, etc.) are suspended until further notice.
Once their customs policies are finalized, we will reintroduce them as options.

⚠️ Important Note
U.S. authorities and carriers have not finalized all details. Updates may vary depending on the shipping service.
DKshop will continue to monitor the situation and share updates as needed.
